The Riverside Centre project is an exciting development designed to transform the tired and underused site which has never reached its full potential as a multi-sport venue since it was built in 2000. Reading through the archives we don’t believe the founders intended the site to be used just for a single sport at weekends and for some evening training sessions. We now have the chance with potentially £1milion investment from the town deal fund to create a centre for the widest possible use of the community. The progress is such that we have setting up a separate website to inform and market the activities being developed.
